		The primary goal of this image was to attempt to give an old and whethered feeling to an image. A vareity of techniques were used to created the realistic decaying wooden texture and metallic rim around the shield. The gem in the middle of the shield was airbrushed, and altered using several glass and sphere distortion effects.
